Cinzia Spa and Wellness Center is a luxury day spa located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It is an inspired space connecting guests to health, healing, and radiant beauty from the inside out.


ELMNTL was tasked with creating brand awareness for Cinzia Spa as a leader in the competitive spa landscape of Myrtle Beach, SC. We were also tasked with tapping into new audiences to increase spa bookings.


We identified three hurdles for Cinzia Spa.

Myrtle Beach is a popular vacation destination with many spas competing for the same business. Among the competition are national spa chains with more brand recognition and larger marketing budgets than Cinzia Spa.

Cinzia Spa’s location presented another challenge. It is in North Myrtle Beach, with very little foot traffic and a long drive from the main boardwalk where tourists gather. It was essential to establish Cinzia Spa as a premier upscale Myrtle Beach Destination spa to increase bookings.

The last challenge we faced was specifically related to the impact of COVID-19 and social distancing mandates. People were no longer interested in going to spas and getting treatments.


To break through the competition, we launched an integrated paid media and search engine optimization strategy. We focused on a Google pay-per-click local campaign in tangent with boosted blog posts and paid social media. Cinzia Spa needed to be on the first page of Google for search terms like “Spa Near Me” and “Myrtle Beach Spa” to gain awareness and set the stage for more bookings.

We established credibility for their services by producing and optimizing monthly blog articles about their various spa services. We then promoted the blog articles on Pinterest using geographic and interest targeting to appear in front of users with potential interest in Cinzia Spa services.

By maintaining our marketing efforts throughout the pandemic, we were able to not only preserve but increase website traffic. We also focused on our top-performing pay-per-click campaigns to use our marketing dollars efficiently. We were able to establish Cinzia Spa as a frontrunner in the Myrtle Beach spa scene, as well as increase spa bookings.
